On Wednesday 07 June at 14:00, in the conference room of the University of Macedonia, the first talk of the UoM IEEE Student Branch will take place. The speaker, Mr. Christos Liaskos, Assistant Professor at the University of Ioannina, holds the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2004), the MSc in Medical Informatics from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2008) and the PhD in Computer Networking from the Department of Computer Science of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2014).
The purpose of this talk is to explore the potential of intelligent materials and how they can adapt their properties using software commands. By integrating them into various products and areas, we can overcome wireless communication problems, improve energy harvesting and enhance acoustic and thermal performance. Opportunities and challenges of using smart materials in various fields are highlighted, merging technology, software and physics for a more advanced and optimized future.
We invite you to join the presentation, enrich your knowledge and discover the opportunities that smart technologies and materials offer to modern society.
We will be glad to see you there!
